ELM crews take charge of your snow and ice removal, typically at two inches or more (you may choose less) on your sidewalk, driveway or parking lot. Our staff watches the weather conditions to make sure that your property is being cleared just at the right time in relationship to snowfall and rain conditions.

We take a proactive approach to winter well before the first snowflake falls, by working with you to formulate a comprehensive snow and ice management plan that's tailored to your site. We walk your property to identify traffic patterns, curbs, grass edges, sidewalks and other hazards that might not always be seen beneath the snow. This map is then provided to our snow removal operators with specific instructions of your needs. ELM uses both large truck plows and hand operated equipment for smaller areas. Our goal is to keep your property safe, but we don't use ammonium nitrate or ammonium sulfate since they typically destroy hardscapes. Instead, we use calcium chloride for ice and snow removal and take extra care with spreader guards to protect the vegetation.
