Landscape Maintenance Packages

Full Landscape Maintenace Service

The financial benefit of this comprehensive package is having the price of services evenly spread throughout the growing season (eight months), with the first billing in April and the last in November. The biggest advantage, is that it's impossible to predict how many mowings will be needed in one year, however ELM will be there when your grass needs us. This package bundles the following: mowing, trimming, mulching, debris clean up, shrub trimming, cutting in and mulching existing beds, and cleanup of fall leaves. It also includes weed control/fertilizer in five applications (crabgrass, broadleaf, fertilizer, slow release fertilizer and winterizer). Additionally, we handle your irrigation maintenance; spring startup and fall shutdown.

Fertilization and Weed Control

Well-fed turf is healthier, which equates to a better root system to combat stresses such as cold, heat, drought and foot traffic. It also helps you win the war against weeds. We’ll put your lawn on a customized feeding schedule that will keep your turf thick, green and beautiful. Our Fertilization and Weed Control Package consists of fve diferent applications throughout the season. Pre-emergent crabgrass control, broadleaf weed control, standard fertilizer, slow release fertilizer and a winterizer fertilizer before the grass goes dormant. Your best defense against lawn weeds is a good offense.

Mowing and Edging

The advantage of a bundled package is having the price of all required services evenly spread throughout the growing season (eight months). The first billing is in April and the last in November. This package includes mowing, edging around hardscapes and existing beds and clearing of grass clippings from beds and walkways.

Tree and Shrub Care

Mowing your property is only half the challenge. Trimming back and shaping your landscape plants is very important to their overall health and when not consistently maintained hurt the appearance of even the best-kept property. This bundle of services includes shaping, pruning, trimming, feeding and insect/disease control. Some trees and bushes require mid-spring trimming while others are best handled in the fall. An effective plan will be mapped out to provide you with details about your specific property’s needs. Ornamental trees or low hanging branches of larger trees are the type of tree trimming we provide. A five-step program is part of this package to ensure strong growth. The regimen includes two dormant oil applications, two disease applications, plus a deep root fertilizer. If needed, there is also a brush cleanup provided for areas over-grown with honeysuckle and other unwanted vegetation.

Spring and Fall Cleanup

Cleanup changes with the seasons, and with this service you receive two visits from us. In the spring we will remove any leaves and debris that have accumulated over winter, edge your beds, mulch beds and add a pre- emergent. Edging creates a crisp, clean edge that holds the mulch in during heavy rains. Mulching protects your plants by retaining water and vital nutrients, and also serves as a weed barrier along with the pre-emergent. In the fall, we remove leaf and debris from beds, as well as turf, before winter sets in.

Small weed problems can quickly become an overgrowth which can lead to severe damage and eventually break through materials such as asphalt or concrete.
